Averi was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (A.L.L.) in July 2019. Averi completed treatment in November 2021, but the fight isn't over. She continues to be monitored monthly by her Oncology team at Children's Hospital New Orleans. Remission doesn't mean cured and completed treatment doesn't mean it can't come back.
We are continuing our annual fundraiser in support of Childhood Cancer Awareness month this September. All donations made will go towards A.L.L. and every donor will receive a gift as a thank you. Please help us reach (or exceed) our $1000 goal.
Right now, only 4 percent of federal cancer funding is earmarked for childhood cancers. We believe kids deserve better! Children’s Cancer Research Fund supports the brightest scientists whose ideas are making the greatest impact for children with cancer.
Every donation - no matter the amount - is one dollar closer to breakthroughs in research that will lead to better treatments and cures for children affected by cancer.
Thank you for supporting us in our journey! Together we can make a difference.
