Why Us?
Each year more than 15,000 kids, teenagers and young adults are diagnosed with cancer—that’s 46 a day. Only 4% of federal cancer research funding is dedicated to childhood cancers.
We believe children diagnosed with cancer and their families deserve better. At CCRF, we support innovative research that will make the greatest impact for children fighting cancer. We also fund resources that help families find respite in a supportive community and provide a little fun because we know that childhood cancer is a whole-family diagnosis. Last year 85.3 percent of donations went toward that mission.
It is crucial that we work together to fund research that leads to safer, more effective treatments for kids diagnosed with cancer. Every dollar raised takes us one step closer to a world where a world without childhood cancer is possible.
