Walk with us - wherever you are, to fight childhood cancer this September.

The Walk for Childhood Cancer Research happens each September in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The walk is set up as an online journey through the MoveSpring app. This makes it possible for anybody, anywhere, to join us in the fight against childhood cancer. Participants raise critical dollars for childhood cancer research through peer-to-peer fundraising. Each year, The Walk provides space and community for those affected by childhood cancer, as well as those who are passionate about uncovering better treatments and cures for childhood cancer.

Whether you personally know a family affected by childhood cancer or not, The Walk is a great way to be active for a purpose. Individuals and teams can also sign up to walk in honor or memory of a child.

How it works

1) Register

Get started by registering for The Walk. You can join an existing team, create your own team or participate as an individual. You can register for The Walk here.

2) fundraise

Once you register, you’ll be able to start raising money and working toward your fundraising goal. Although cancer remains the most common cause of death by disease among children in the U.S., funding for childhood cancer research pales in comparison to funds available for adult cancers. The road to new, better treatment options always starts with supporters like you.

3) download the app

When you register, you’ll receive a confirmation email inviting you to join the MoveSpring app. On the app, you’ll find exclusive content, activities and even a chat feature where you can share photos and connect with other walkers who are passionate about ending childhood cancer.

4) start walking

Throughout the month of September, the MoveSpring app will track your progress along a map, unlocking exciting bonuses, research updates and inspiring childhood cancer stories. The farther you walk, the more you’ll unlock!
